No passado dia 14 de Dezembro de 2022 a RME representada pelo nosso Eng.º Pedro Vieira deslocou-se ao Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto (ISEP), para participar como orador na sessão técnica de “Sistema de Proteção em UPAC´s e instalações Fotovoltaicas de Pequena Produção”. Esta ação foi promovida pelo Curso de Mestrado em Engenharia Eletrotécnica – Sistemas Elétricos de Energia. Apresentação de proteções utilizadas nas Centrais Hídricas da EDP Produção. Esta ação foi promovida pelo Curso de Mestrado em Engenharia Eletrotécnica – Sistemas Elétricos de Energia. We proceeded with the retrofit of the SR489 generator protection (already discontinued) with the new SR889 unit.
This solution allows us to fully replace the old protection without the need for any electrification or changes to the electrical design of the installation.
Interconnection Protection for UPPs and UPACs (>1MW)
This system was developed based on the SPCCs installed in the E-Redes substations. Among the main features, we can highlight: Complete monitoring of the entire installation, Individual communication with each inverter, Communication with Datalogger, Communication with weather station, Event logging, Alarm logging, and Automatic collection and sending of oscillographs.
